Like so many women, I spent years pouring myself into a demanding corporate role, pushing through exhaustion, ignoring what my body was telling me, putting everything and everyone else first.
I was good at it. Holding it all together. Showing up. Keeping going.
But in 2024, everything stopped.
I was diagnosed with Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma, a rare gynaecological cancer, at 39 years old.
And during the next few months, I understood something I'd been too busy to feel. Calm isn't a reward for when everything is done. It's how we survive the hard parts. It's how we stay connected to ourselves when life tries to pull us away.
I'm cancer-free now. And I made a decision: To stop waiting for permission to rest, to stop treating beauty as something to earn, and to build something that gave other women what I'd spent years denying myself.
That's what Le Luxé Bath Co is. A brand born from healing, made with love, and created entirely for you.
Where it began
Le Luxé Bath Co began with a handful of ingredients and the women I loved most.
Bath silks made at my kitchen bench. Body butters wrapped in florals. Small, handmade things given as gifts, because I wanted the people I cared about to have something beautiful to unwrap at the end of a long day.
Over time, that practice became a purpose.
I started to understand that the women around me were exhausted in the same way I had been. Overstimulated. Emotionally depleted. Craving something that was just theirs. Not cookie cutter, not hurried, but genuinely beautiful and intentionally made.
So I kept crafting. Refining scents. Learning formulations and cosmetic regulations. Building something that honoured the ritual of caring for yourself. Not as an afterthought, but as an act of genuine self-respect.
Every product is still made or touched by hand in some form, in small batches, here in Western Australia.

Calm is not a nice to have. It's a necessity.
We live in a world that rewards busy and punishes stillness. That, as Millenials, tells you to push through, show up, hold it together, and offers you very little in return.
